The National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) honored outstanding contributors to dental laboratory technology at the annual Vision 21 Meeting on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Winners were nominated by their peers and were selected based on an objective point system.

NADL Educator of the Year

This award is presented to an individual educator who has made outstanding contributions in an area of formal dental technology education.
NADL Excellence in Education
Craig Pickett, CDT, TE - Whip Mix Corporation, Louisville, KY
This award is presented to a dental laboratory professional that has provided services to the dental laboratory industry in the furtherance of education.
NADL Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements
Dr. C. William D'Aiuto - D'Aiuto Dental, Longwood, FL
This award honors an individual for achievements made on behalf of NADL nationally and for the industry at large.
NADL Harry Hagman, CDT Inventors Award
Bob Rusler - Indiana Dental Prosthetics, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana
This award is presented to an individual who holds a US patent or copyright which brings new and innovative tools, materials, or processing methods to the dental laboratory industry.
